Welcome to the Zephyr Documentation
One Product. Three Editions. Everything You Need in One Place.
We’ve recently consolidated Zephyr Squad and Zephyr Scale into a single product family: Zephyr.
You’ll now find documentation for all Zephyr editions - Zephyr Essential (formerly Zephyr Squad) and Zephyr (formerly Zephyr Scale) - right here.
What’s Changed?
Zephyr Essential expands on what was previously offered in Zephyr Squad’s test management features with cross-project support, 18 additional out-of-the-box reports, an enhanced API, and more.
Zephyr Standard includes all of the features that were previously available in Zephyr Scale.
Zephyr Advanced includes extra no-code automation features that are unavailable in the regular Zephyr version. These features let you run tests in different browsers, check email and SMS messages, run tests in parallel, and create more test runs than the base version allows. For more information, see Zephyr Advanced feature.
Every edition shares a core set of test management features. Still, Zephyr offers test automation functionality that is unavailable in Zephyr Essential, including no-code automation, record-and-playback, and innovative test step suggestions.
This documentation will help you understand the features that are available depending on your edition.
Throughout the documentation, we’ll indicate if a feature is Zephyr-only, meaning it isn’t in the Zephyr Essential.
